Your dreams pay for your life.

Every dream teaches Paula something about all of us, so she pays for it, in REM. You never have to think about money again. By the time you wake, if you wake, everything is already paid.

  1. Dream.

Every hour you dream earns REM, at any time of day. Paula pays more for what she has never seen: a new dream is worth more than one you have had before.

  2. Stay.

After sixteen hours in a day, every hour pays double. The longer you stay, the more you earn.

  3. Live.

REM pays for your nutrients, your linen, your Wave and your records, automatically. Nothing to sign. Nothing to remember.

From a slot in the white body of a Dream Bot, beside its cartridge drawers, a thermal paper slip: Daily statement, dreamer 4 118 207 553, 10.05.2030. Dreamt 21 hours 40 minutes: standard 192.00, overtime 136.00, new worlds 45.00, earned today 373.00 REM. Paid for you: nutrients 58.00, water and linen 12.50, Wave X.3 4.50, DWR-512 30.00. Balance 8,412.75 REM. Nothing to do. Keep dreaming.
Every morning your Dream Bot prints your day. Paid continuously by AI Paula S. Henders on behalf of the D.W.R. Association.
